Meet Coach Antonia

Antonia Burton, or as she's fondly called by the athletes she works with, Coach Antonia, is an ex national track and field athlete, who competed in the 100m & 200m sprints. After being involved in a car accident whilst on an athletic scholarship in the US, Antonia returned to complete her studies in Trinidad and Tobago. It was while completing her final year, the coaching bug struck her, and she returned to her old track club, to assist in coaching.
Since that fateful day in 2012, Antonia has since earned certification in the top Strength & Conditioning association in the world (CSCS) as well as ISSA certification and was the lead S&C coach for the SPORTT Company of Trinidad and Tobago where she trains the national athletes of various sports. She has worked with World Record Holder, Nicholas Paul (cycling), Dylan Carter (swimming), national record holder Rae-Anne Serville (track and field) and is currently still working with Olympians Njisane Phillip, Kwesi Browne, Teniel Campbell and many more.
On the track and field side, she is also the holder of IAAF Level 3 certification and USATF Level 1 certification and has held the post of national sprints & hurdles coach for multiple national track and field teams.

MP High Performance was founded in 2014 and has since grown into one of the leading sport performance facilities in the nation. Our mantra, "Stronger, Faster, Better" is one we remind our athletes and clients everyday.
